If you are using clickbank to promote products, when you signed up with clickbank you got a username which is also your clickbank nickname.

When you go through the marketplace at clickbank and choose a product, under the product title are 2 links, you click on the one that states, get hoplink, and input your clickbank id, this will product the url you need to promote in order to receive credit for any sales made.

where I’m having trouble is on my own website. I am not sure how (or where) to add my clickbank nickname to a product I want to sponsor.

There are a few different ways to go about adding your clickbank url.

If you have access to your html side of your webpage, then you need to add the following code -

< a href="http://yourclickbankurl.com" onclick="javascript:urchinTracker('/outbound/yourclickbankurl.com');">Name of your product< /a>

This code will make the words - Name of your product - clickable by all visitors.

Using ClickBank is one of the first places anyone should start out with. They are free to get started and very easy to set up and starting making a commission.

Another good aspect of ClickBank is if you already have your own product/service you can sign up with them as have others promoting your stuff. This frees you up to worrying about having to build websites for affiliates and paying them, ClickBank does this for you. All you need to do is sign up as a publisher and start selling your products/services, there is a one time setup fee of $50 to get set up. But when you look at the income it will bring you it is well worth the investment.
